The clinic, a joint initiative of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Paul United Methodist Church, provides health services to the poorin the Muskogee area who lack medical coverage. Established in 2000, we have been serving the Muskogee Community for over 10 years. We serve those individuals aged 18-64 who have no insurance, Indian card and who receive no government assistance. Last year the clinic served over 500 patients, utilizing volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners, RNs, pharmacists, and vocational nurses. The clinic also offers free dental services. Good Shepherd’s goal is to improve clients’ quality of life through an increase in health, self-esteem, and Christian support.
